We are calling for a bold, coordinated effort to reshape our markets and enable large-scale upgrades to Canada’s homes and buildings. This Retrofit Mission means investing in skilled trades, prioritizing Canadian-made materials, and setting clear performance rules so households and businesses can plan ahead with confidence.

Right now, we’re stuck with a patchwork of grants and pilots. The Mission turns that into a national effort — one that improves housing affordability, creates good jobs, and drives innovation across the construction and home improvement sector.
